  • "This Astral Presence - The Place Where Things Dissolve"...

    The Place Where Things Dissolve...  in the Mandukya Upanishad, a space is described.  It is not waking, it is not dreaming, it is something else.  Something mysterious where things dissolve.

    I have seen this space.  I call it "blackness of sleep".  In this space, the dream isn't the one real thing, nor is waking life the one real thing.  In the space where things dissolve, this primordial subtle space between, I wait quietly as a cluster of qualities.  Becoming aware of other clusters of qualities, I am not a human, I am not nothing either- I simply am.  I entered this space by dissolving.  As I am here, I experience, I observe, I AM.  And then, I dissolve again- this time a dissolution away from the whole and into waking life, or into another dream.  

    Difficult to describe, "the place where things dissolve" is what I consider to be the true reality.

    This demon deity is a representation of that space, between worlds, tending to what passes through in dissolution.

     

    The series "This Astral Presence" was based on a series of reoccuring dreams I had, wherein I was entrusted to guard and steward a series of mystical portals in another dimension, here in the wilderness in my desert backyard.
