  • "This Astral Presence - The Luminous Great Perfection"

    The Luminous Great Perfection is a Dzogchen spiritual phrase.  When I read it, I see it as referring to the magnificent fact that every "thing" that exists- whether good or bad, frustrating or favorable, precise or blurry- is, in itself, inherently perfect.  It is all part of the ONE THING that exists.  This ONE THING contains all, IS all.  In its infinite variety, the perfect balance of all qualities in wholeness shines forth always.  It is up to us to notice that whatever may be seeming to occur, it is not the whole story- there is always more going on than meets the narrow eye of our minds.  

    This demon deity represents a reminder that we are never trapped in what we assume we are experiencing- there are always other doors we can walk through.

    The series "This Astral Presence" was based on a series of reoccuring dreams I had, wherein I was entrusted to guard and steward a series of mystical portals in another dimension, here in the wilderness in my desert backyard.
